Below is the primary basic policies I expect of all dog walking and pet sitting clients to ensure operations run in a smooth, consistent manner. Prior to reserving a Meet & Greet, you will have the opportunity to read through the full contract Pawlicies to ensure we're all on the same page. I appreciate your cooperation.
Consultation & Keys
I require all clients fill out the required forms via their Paw Portal account prior to reserving a Meet & Greet. You may not reserve a consultation appointment until forms are completed in order to ensure I'm able to accommodate your needs, location, and travel dates before we meet.
Keys must be provided at the Meet & Greet or additional fees will apply for pick-up.
Clients are required to provide all tools and equipment uniquely necessary to care for your pets. Clients are expected to provide enough food, cleaning supplies, waste bags, cat, litter, leashes and collars/harnesses, etc.
I do not use retractable leashes. All dogs should have proper fitting and safe restraints; ie harnesses, Gentle Leaders. Collars that can loosen when pulled are discouraged.
All scheduled services are completed within a designated time window, and not an exact appointment time.
Early Morning (7-9:30am)
Late Morning (10-11am)
I have several scheduled services each day - This allows flexibilty to account for any unpredictable delays (extreme weather conditions, emergencies, extra cleanup, transportation issues, etc.). During the meet & greet we will discuss the best time window for your pets, as well as note a goal time for reference.
I accept all major credit cards via the secured Paw Portal. Invoices are due in full by the time sitting begins, unless if otherwise discussed with me. If payment is not received by the time services begin, services will not be rendered. Checks, Paypal, Venmo, or cash may be accepted if agreed upon in advance.
A 50% deposit must be made in advance to reserve any holiday travel dates.
My schedule fills up far in advance for all major holidays. Please make sure to get your holiday requests in as soon as possible to guarantee availability (At least one month in advance. Please view our FAQ page for all major holiday surcharges that apply.
